The home offers a master bedroom with a queen size bed; two guest bedrooms with full size beds and a fourth guest bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. 6-person maximum capacity (an additional fee for extra guests). You may either bring your own sheets or there is a linen service we can refer you to.
A full bathroom is off the kitchen and a half bathroom off the living room. There is also an enclosed outside shower in the backyard. There are limited hand and kitchen towels for your convenience, but they must be washed, dried and replaced in the cabinet before vacating. There is no washing service. You should plan on bringing your own towels. There are NO beach towels available.
The kitchen includes a stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, dishes, silverware, basic cooking utensils, pots, pans and assorted spices. Household products such as soap, plastic wrap, paper towels, etc. are not included and are expensive to purchase on the island. Often times there are products left behind by the owners and other renters, but the amount and type vary.
The living room space includes a full couch, love seat and futon. The best feature of this space is it looks directly down Chapel Street with a wonderful view of Old Harbor, as well as the ferry. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player. The fourth guest bedroom (with the two bunk beds) has a flat screen TV and DVD player. The TV provider is DirectTV. There is no telephone landline.
Included is a washing machine, dryer and a clothes line.
The property has a semi-private backyard with a picnic table and umbrella, gas grill and lawn chairs. The house is positioned across the street from St. Andrew Catholic church (see map below), so chances are you will enjoy watching a wedding! The side yard has a large tree for shade and looks down Chapel Street towards the ocean.
The home is within walking distance to the beaches. It is just steps to all that Old Harbor has to offer: numerous restaurants, shops, the Manisses animal farm, moped and bike rentals. Below is a map of Old Harbor.
